What is better than a stylist/model duo? A duo that is related that’s what.
This update of Fashion Fam features emerging model Seun ‘Logan’ Adepena and Magnify ‘Mag’ Adepena. You might have come across Seun from the Elite Model Look 2015 competition that happened in October 2015 where he was one of the top three finalists. Already signed to Beth Models, Seun went on to walk at the Lagos Fashion and Design Week and grace editorials for magazine StyleMania and menswear label T.I Nathan where his cousin Magnify Adepena, otherwise known by the incredibly suave name Mag Payne, has been a long term stylist.
Mag Payne might be a little less in our faces because he is a stylist but he is no less accomplished. He also started as a designer in 2011, working with T.I Nathan, then an emerging bespoke brand before he segued into styling work, increasing his portfolio with styling gigs for Music Meets Runway, L.F.D.W. and most recently for MNET Nigeria as stylist working with Ill Rhymz and Vimbai Muthinri on Star Gist.
Mag Payne and Seun Logan have done quite a bit of work together, mostly on T.I Nathan collections, most recently his Soliloquy and Holiday collections where Seun works as the face of the print ads for both campaigns. From the images we’ve seen, this a mix that works very well. Both cousins are in good places in their careers and we have our fingers crossed that they collaborate outside of their comfort zone in future projects.
