Fashion meets sci-fi: Christian Louboutin designs Stars Wars: The Last Jedi shoes

Just in time for the official release of the latest Star Wars sequel, Star Wars: The Last Jedi on 15 December, footwear designer, Christian Louboutin is having what we like to call an intergalactic collaboration with Disney.

The designer has created four magical shoes after the four female lead characters in the movie: Rey (Daisy Ridley), Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo (Laura Dern), Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) and Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran).

This new collaboration will be Christian Louboutin’s third with Walt Disney Studios, the first being the Cinderella glass slippers in 2012 and the Maleficent shoes in 2014.

The shoes will enjoy a fancy debut at the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in Los Angeles tomorrow and designer, Louboutin will be on hand with the four actresses to sign the shoes before they get sent off for auction.
