41 Luxe presents ‘The Luxe Lady Series’, a monthly series showcasing women who represent the LuxeLady, a woman of substance and style, and after their debut collaboration with Oge Agu of Kamdora.Ng, this month they’re tapping Ezinne Alfa, a beauty blogger and influencer and the person behind the blog Beauty In Lagos as the Luxe Lady for the month of July.
While Alfa has largely stayed under the radar, her work speaks volumes for her. Ezinne Alfa was one of the first Nigerian bloggers to ditch the multivariate approach to blogging about fashion and lifestyle and focus exclusively on beauty. She established the first beauty blog and directory in Nigeria, Beauty in Lagos and has recently expanded the Beauty In Lagos franchise to include the just launched The Beauty Club, a nationwide beauty subscription service that grants access to insane beauty deals and offers, secret sales and exciting events.
It’s pretty interesting to see the kinds of influencers 41 Luxe Lagos is aligning itself with. When it first came to Lagos from Abuja, all the indications seemed to suggest that it was going to try to compete with retail brands like Alara Lagos. But 41 Luxe seems it is setting its sights to more practical goals, like creating an alternative premium retail store, something like what Grey Velvet has been able to achieve.
