Lilian Esoro’s first editorial for House Of Lunettes is lush

House of Lunettes, the eyewear start up has had its fair share of firsts. It is the first eyewear retail to obtain proper licensing to exclusively sell designer eyewear in Nigeria, the first to expand from online retailing to brick and mortar stores solely on the merit of its sales and it is the first eyewear retailers to sign on an ambassador.

The brand tapped emerging actress Lilian Esoro as it’s face, mostly leveraging on the visibility her high profile marriage to Ubi Franklin, the boss of Made Men Music Group would bring. And it worked, visibility for the brand has soared since she signed on.

Recently the brand released it’s first advertising campaign with Lilian Esoro, showcasing several of their best selling designs from Gucci, Prada, Tom Ford to name a few.

Even a cursory glance at the images suggests that a lot of thought was put into the project. Lilian is dressed in amorphous clothing, fuelling pregnancy rumors and she literally glows as she smiles and poses in eyewear.

We like that the editorial is fun, instead of edgy. Not everything need be high fashion.
