Kanyinsola Onalaja’s eponymous brand was one of our favourite showcases from the 2015 Lagos Fashion and Design Week with pretty florals and unique apicultural motifs. Since then the label has gone on to represent Nigeria at the 2016 British Council sponsored International Fashion Showcase designer presentation, ‘Across The Bleed,’ along with a team of other Nigerian designers. This is probably why the label hasn’t released campaign images for its new collection.
But not to worry, Onalaja has put up several teaser images of the more iconic looks over on its official Instagram page and from what we’ve seen, it’s going to be truly amazing.
Exposed brick walls, wood paneled floors, big hair and shot by renowned Nigerian fashion photographer Ade Asiko? What’s not to love?
