There is nothing as interesting as a design label that is willing to experiment with new ways to reach their audience. Rayo by Lamipo Somoye has always challenged our expectations of fashion, first with her collections (how they are created and constructed) and how she presents and brands these collections to her audience. Who could forget her amazing Spring 17 collection shot by fashion stylist and photographer Daniel Obasi.
Somoye and Rayo have been off the radar for a bit, and it is refreshing to see her return to the stage with a new project she is teasing with a photo shoot she has branded as a ‘visual poem’.
