10 dazzling evening dresses we double-tapped on Instagram this week

The week is almost running out and although there weren’t any major red carpet events in these parts, a number of stunning evening gowns somehow crept into our Instagram feed and we had no way of ignoring them.

From South African TV host, Ayanda Thabethe whose crisp, stylish looks recurred on Instagram multiple times this week to some of our favourite fashion bloggers who took slay up a notch in breathtaking, floorlength numbers, here are 10 of the best evening dresses we liked on the photo sharing app this week.

Super model, Naomi Campbell attended the 2017 LACMA Art and Film Gala in a one-shoulder Atelier Versace gown embellished with crystal bead fringes
Smart money woman, Arese Ugwu was a delight to behold in a yellow, one-shoulder gown for Today’s Woman magazine cover
Biola Ayeni sat pretty in a gold and black off-shoulder dress fit for queens. Photo courtesy: TY Bello
In a league of her own, Duckie Thot wore the flowery ball gown with sheer details for the Pirelli Calendar 2018
The most daring pick from the week. The slit on this Gert-Johan Coetzee dress is all the way up and what else do we love about the dress? It’s in the season’s official colour – RED
Miss Earth United States 2017, Andreai Gibau shone to perfection in this metallic gown by American evening wear brand, Jovani
Gert-Johan Coetzee did it again and gave us one of Instagram’s most liked looks from the week
Twice the gorgeousness. Ayanda Thabethe made us want to do black from head-to-toe over and over in another stunning piece by Gert-Johan Coetzee. Little wonder she won South Africa’s most stylish media personality award…
Monica Awe-Etuk took the streets of Toronto in tulle and the best part? She paired it with sneakers.
Fringe makes everything look better and Tosin Sho-Silva made that clear in this beaded ensemble by A Star Is Born
