We can wear pajamas anywhere now

I don’t know about you but being able to party in pajamas has been a life long dream of mine. And now I can finally cross it off my bucket list without getting kicked out of a party.

The pajama trend is here and it’s big and we absolutely love it. The pajama trend is full of silk and cotton and exotic designs we wouldn’t even want to sleep in. You can’t help but love a trend that is both stylish and comfortable.

The trend made its first comeback in 2012/2013 and then pulled a mysterious disappearing act in 2014/2015, but it’s back now (for good we hope) and we vote that the trend becomes one of those timeless trends like the LBD, because well it deserves it.

In 2012/2013, the pajamas trend was focused only around fancy pajama bottoms made to look like nothing you could ever mistake as sleep wear. But this year, the trend has expanded from just pajama bottoms, to include full pajama style sets, nightie dresses, fancy robes and kimonos and lingerie inspired pieces.

None of the designers at the 2015 LFDW quite hopped on the trend and so we are waiting with fingers crossed for this year’s event in the hopes that the trend takes over the runways.

What do you guys think of the pajama trend, love it or hate it? For us, the only downside is that saying I’m already in my pajamas, is no longer a valid excuse to bail on a date.

We'll miss this one.
