High street retailer DOS Clothing launched it’s first physical store in Lekki, Lagos in December 2012. In the four years since, the brand has grown, foraying into the digital space and working on an in-house label. Dedicated to catering to both the savvy fashionista and the everyday woman whose main priority is to dress stylishly and comfortably with minimal effort, the label is taking its campaign one step further with a new ‘Season’s Must Haves’ collection.
The collection, fronted by blogger Derin of Derinfromisaleeko, sees the high street label put its own personal spin on women’s classics. There are sequinned shift dresses, two piece co-ord sets, risque high-low dresses and art silk pyjama sets.
The tailoring is excellent and the design easy on the eye and unfussy for the wearer who needs clothes that will withstand wear and look good on many body types. This is very much what we expect from high street retailers. They are supposed to provide a counter point for the big buck, conceptual brands, the well tailored but understated dress to complement your high concept jacket.
