Looks Like A Good Man is selling us ‘The Suave man’

There aren’t many menswear labels that straddle the line between premium and high street, providing affordable, classic styles  with affordable price points.  Looks Like A Good Man is one of those labels emerging to fill that niche. Grown quite literally through social media, the emerging menswear label has gained quite the following with its takes on what passes for culturally acceptable traditional formal wear.

To announce its arrival into the big leagues, LLGM has shot its very first editorial campaign, giving us a proper glimpse into the aesthetic and brand ideologies. ‘The Suave Man’ is being fronted by the rapper, Ozone and shows that the label is in no hurry to move away from the look that made it so popular. Clean lines dominate, as do superior tailoring and an attention to fit and detail that is almost obsessive compulsive. But it works, it totally works.

Izien Aigbodon describes his reasons for joining the fashion rat race as thus:

the need to cater for the needs of people by creating quality designs at affordable prices”.

Pretty simple but all the best mantras are.

We particularly like that LLGM has focused primarily on traditional Nigerian formal menswear, taking these centuries old designs and putting a spin on them, using unconventional fabrics like denim and damask. Well made, fashion forward traditional menswear will always be in demand.
