High Tea and High Fashion! Biola Alabi, Maria Okan, Zina Anumudu, Nicole Chikwe, Funke babs Kufeji attends ZAZAII’s exclusive preview and new arrival showcase
Isoken Ogiemwonyi’s retail store ZAZAII opens its doors hosting fashion editors, bloggers and enthusiasts to an exclusive press preview and showcase of their designer brands on Thursday October 1, 2015 at the store located at 36, Balarabe Musa Crescent off Samuel Manuwa, Victoria Island Lagos.
The designer brands featured at the event were Eve & Tribe, Things Nigerians Love (TNL), Adẻy Soile, Ariaba Lifestyle, Rococo, Le Reve Pieces, Literati, Nuraniya,The Obisdian Way, Kamokini, Sanusi Lagos and The Shirt Co Lagos.
Key pieces from each designer collection was presented on models from Pages Model, and the models were in Beauty by DARI.
The theme for the presentation was “COLOR STORY”; the perfect juxtaposition of bold colours and prints.
When asked why they choose to be a part of the ZAZAII platform, some of the designers had this to say
“As much as we are a unique tribe we know we belong to the Nigerian fashion scene, ZAZAII promotes this sense of togetherness that we want to keep on nurturing.” Said Orinola Gbadebo Smith of Eve and Tribe. “ZAZAII promotes the idea of variety and choice in Nigerian fashion and we are happy to be a part of that.”
In the same vein, CEO of Literati of Patrick Rhodes Vivour also said “I always say the wider the network the better the business, running a store on your own is not an easy task. So the idea to be showcased in the Zazaii store was great for me. Plus I really admire what ZAZAII is trying to achieve for Nigerian retail and being part of it is an honor.”

Guests were treated to a variety of sweet ‘High Tea appropriate’ treats and cocktails by Elle’s Icebox with a 70% knockdown flash sale on Rogue Vallari pieces.
