5 celebrity looks that blew us away over the weekend

Celebrity stylists were super busy over the weekend and we saw them play with colours that made for some of our favourite looks. We’re not sure how long it took to prepare these looks but we can tell a lot of work went into putting the dresses together.

Our picks are super gorgeous, we can assure you! But what has us more excited is how we can proudly say most of the outfits are made in Nigeria. From fast-rising designer like Fablane by Derin who is easily becoming a favourite to Toju Foyeh and Nuraniya.

See our best celebrity looks from the weekend:

Actress, Beverly Naya hosted the Beauty of Africa International Pageant wearing a blue, floorlength number with a peplum waist and sweetheart neck cut by Nuraniya.
Twice the charm! Beverly Naya attended a movie premiere in another floorlength dress by Fablane by Derin; but this time in mustard. And we love love love this one…
Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi is not afraid to show off her legs and you shouldn’t be too. This Style Temple pants are the biggest winner from the entire look.
Kate Henshaw brings back the cutout shoulder trend in late 2017 and we’re so here for it.
We’re not sure we’ve seen anything more chic in recent times! Bolanle Olukanni looked simple yet elegant in this mini Toju Foyeh dress and the big bow totally works. Yasssss!
Toke Makinwa is the star of the weekend. We saw Barbie come to life in this yellow Gert Johan Coetzee gown and it’s a fashion moment to remember
